Kingfisher Yarn & Fibre is the exclusive distributor for Jo Sharp Collection and Halcyon Signature yarns and patterns. We stand behind the quality of our products. We strive to provide great support, service and delivery. We are invested in the success of our retailers. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, and always feel free to reach out with questions. We look forward to working with you!
PAYMENT & PRICING
Prices are in US dollars unless otherwise noted, and wholesale prices reflect approximately 50% of the suggested MSRP, plus shipping. Additional currency options may be available upon request. Opening orders must total minimum $750 USD in merchandise. After wholesale account is approved, initial order must be paid in advance. Subsequent USA orders for accounts in good standing may pay at net 30 terms with a credit card on file. Invoices over 30 days past due may be charged to your credit card.
After an initial order meeting the $750 minimum, subsequent orders only require a four bag minimum. Pattern orders have no minimum. We accept payment via credit card, ACH transfer, or check. We require that all accounts keep a current credit card on file unless paying in advance.
DELIVERY & SHIPPING
Shipping is charged at the actual cost, orders over $1,000 ship free, standard ground delivery to the lower 48. Deliveries are made via UPS or USPS and our shipping department will determine the best method based on parcel size and destination. Shipping charges will be confirmed, and added if necessary, on your invoice at the time of shipment. If you prefer a specific service, or need an order expedited, please contact us directly when ordering. You will be responsible for any additional shipping and handling charges.
Please inspect shipments immediately upon delivery. If items are damaged, defective, missing, or have been shipped in error, please notify us within 5 business days and we will make arrangements for exchange. If damage occurred during shipment please keep all packaging, as it may be needed to process a claim with the carrier.
We make every effort to maintain sufficient stock on hand in our Maine warehouse, and to supply you in a timely manner. However, if we do not have enough of an item you’re looking for, we do accept back orders (see below). If you require an estimated arrival time please email or call, otherwise orders will ship automatically as available.
Merchandise is sold in full packs only and drop shipping to addresses other than your company location is not possible.
Please place orders directly through our secure merchant website using the login provided upon approval of your account. You may also email email@example.com, or call in orders to (207) 442-8101. Please do not leave orders on voicemail, just leave a message and a good time to reach you, we’ll call you back!
After your initial order you may pay immediately upon checkout, or be billed at net 30 terms, payable by credit card, ACH transfer, or check. Any difference in final charges, due to merchandise availability or shipping costs, will be adjusted upon shipment and billed or credited accordingly.
All sales are considered final. We do not accept returns except in cases of error or defect.
BACK ORDERS/OUT OF STOCK
We accept back orders for items that are out of stock via all ordering methods. If you would like to order items not available for immediate shipment, please include the item(s) in your order. We will automatically ship as available, normally within four to seven weeks. If the order containing back ordered items totals over $1,000 all items on that purchase order will ship free as described above.
LIMITATIONS ON MODIFICATION, PRICING AND RESALE OF GOODS
In order to maintain the integrity of our brands, fairness, and the good faith of our customers, we require that all goods be resold unmodified and with original labeling/packaging intact. Goods are intended for resale only, any modification or other use is forbidden without the express consent of Kingfisher Yarn & Fibre. Goods are expected to be sold at a reasonable markup in a retail environment and we do not condone sales via third party retail platforms such as Etsy, eBay, or Amazon, or to other retailers. With the exception of clearance items or occasional limited time promotions, we expect goods to be sold at, or close to, the MSRP. Kingfisher Yarn & Fibre reserves the right to refuse future sales to accounts selling at, or just above, wholesale prices, or otherwise disregarding the above limitations.
We respect the creativity of our yarn and pattern designers and enforce strict copyright protection. Please - our industry thrives on creativity and anyone who disrespects the time and talent of designers deserves dropped stitches, dirty looks and worse! Retailers found to be copying patterns or redistributing copyrighted materials without payment or consent will have their account immediately suspended and may be refused future sales.
Your customers appreciate the careful selection and presentation offered in your store and on your website. We’re happy to provide merchandising support to help you display these products beautifully. Upon request we can provide you with digital images, printed materials, sample cards, display components, trunk shows and other support materials. (Some materials may incur a fee.) We do not offer a model program at this time. Please call or email us to discuss your specific needs. We’re invested in your success!
Kingfisher Yarn & Fibre may change the above terms, update prices and minimums, and discontinue or change product lines or availability, at any time. Kingfisher Yarn & Fibre reserves the right to suspend or terminate any wholesale account at any time.
